Our team.

Luz Pena (Spanish interpreter & accountability director)

¡Hola! ¡Saludos!

Christina Williams (Assistant Secretary)

Hi, my name is Christina Williams, I love to serve, hike and do crossword puzzles to relax. I love my husband, 3 sons, my daughter and my 2 fur-babies. Beauty for Ashes isn’t your typical workshop, and after attending one session I could see how special it was, so when Amanda asked me to be a part of it, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of something so amazing.

Josh Harmon (Board of trustees)

My name is Joshua Harmon, I am one of the speakers and am also head of registration for Beauty for Ashes Workshop. Currently, I am in graduate school with plans to become a doctor in the future. My favorite thing about Beauty for Ashes thus far is opening the dialogue with people in the community regarding mental health, while coupling it with encouragement that comes from the Word of God. I am super excited for what is in store for this workshop, and I believe that it will continue to impact lives.

Phillieppe Still (Head Chef)

Hi everyone, I’m Phileppe Still, 37, I live in the state of in New Jersey. I Grew up in church serves in multiple ministries including BFAW. I Love to cook (is the chef). Am a loving and wonderful father to a 12yr old. I Love God, Family and working on my saxophone skills. Being a part of BFAW has been one of the most important decisions I have made thus far. Not only has this organization helped my walk with Christ but I get to see 1st hand how God is moving through everyone we come in contact with. The “yes” part was not as simple as I originally thought before because that's where the challenge really came. I said yes even when I felt discouraged, I said yes though I am still holding on to past trauma so, saying yes was the start of therapy and acknowledgement that I too needed help. I am still finding my way and thank God for change that is coming and the encouragement I receive from these workshops that God cares and sees me.
